Global Entry Fee Hike: What Travelers Need to Know

Writer: Dee HarrisDee Harris

According to Travel Pulse, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has officially introduced updated fees for the Global Entry, NEXUS, and SENTRI trusted traveler programs as of Tuesday, October 1. The new application fee for these programs is now $120. Previously, Global Entry was priced at $100, and NEXUS at $50. SENTRI applicants will experience a slight reduction, with the fee dropping from $122.25. CBP explained that these fee changes are necessary to ensure the programs’ continued growth and efficient management. Additionally, CBP confirmed that applicants under 18 will not be required to pay the application fee if their parent or legal guardian is already a member or is applying at the same time for NEXUS, SENTRI, or Global Entry.
